I bring to my voiceover booth a decade-and-counting career in communications and human services. My journey to voice acting began while pursuing a master’s degree, though I highly suggest finishing grad school before diving in!
Voiceover felt like a natural progression: Childhood drama classes at the YMCA, on-stage and A/V booth work for musicals and plays in high school, operating the radio of a Cessna 172 in flight school, singing soprano with the University of Alberta Mixed Chorus, and adding podcast production to my comms toolkit all paved the way.
What began with a Blue Snowball and fuzzy blankets grew over the years into a dedicated home studio with a Neumann TLM 103.
My voice is best described as mid-low in tone, finding itself most often in roles that are mature, parental, ethereal, gritty, compassionate, or warm and friendly.
Thanks to years spent living between Canada and Estonia, I also offer Baltic and Slavic accents, and Estonian voiceover for VO projects.
